New York State Military Museum

New York State Military Museum is at 61 Lake Ave. (SR 29) in the 1889 Saratoga Springs Armory building. The museum's collection of more than 10,000 artifacts focuses chiefly on New York military history and the participation of its residents in U.S. military campaigns from the Revolutionary War period to late 20th-century conflicts, with an emphasis on the Civil War. A large collection of state battle flags is a highlight, as well as collections of uniforms, weapons and artwork. A research library and archives are available.
