National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame

National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, 191 Union Ave. at Ludlow St., contains exhibits about the past, present and future of Thoroughbred racing in America. Displays include equine paintings and sculptures. The Hall of Fame honors horses, jockeys and trainers. Photographs, videos and a skeleton illustrate selective breeding and anatomy. In a simulated racetrack, videos of well-known trainers and jockeys explain training and racing techniques. A guided behind-the-scenes tour of the training track is available.
