Oneida Community Mansion House

Oneida Community Mansion House is at 170 Kenwood Ave. Building began on this 93,000-square-foot house in 1861, which contains more than 250 rooms that reflect the needs and aspirations of the utopian community that lived here as one family. Rooms include the Family Hall, featuring a trompe l'oeil ceiling, and the original Oneida Community Library. Tours present permanent and changing exhibitions, family portraits, folk art, Empire and Victorian furniture, costumes and historical photographs.
