The Morgan Library & Museum 225 Madison Ave. at 36th St., a palazzo-style building of Renaissance architecture, was the private library of J. Pierpont Morgan. Rare editions and illuminated manuscripts are featured as well as art objects, paintings, sculpture and a glass-enclosed garden court. Changing art and literature exhibits also are presented.
