Little Italy

Little Italy is 4 blks. e. of Broadway on Grand St. to Mulberry St. The aroma of Italian food and the ambience of old Italy permeate the narrow streets of this neighborhood settled by Italian immigrants. Nineteenth-century tenements and architecturally interesting buildings lend to the flavor of the historic district. An activities center on Mulberry Street is open on weekends and during the popular 11-day Feast of San Gennaro in mid-September.
