Herkimer Home State Historic Site

Herkimer Home State Historic Site, 3 mi. e. on SR 169 at I-90 exit 29A, was the home of American Revolutionary War general Nicholas Herkimer. The 1764 house contains historic furnishings, artifacts and memorabilia. The site includes a Colonial herb and vegetable garden. A visitor center presents an orientation film about the history of the home.
