John Brown Farm State Historic Site is .5 mi. s. on SR 73, then .7 mi. s. on John Brown Rd. A monument and restored farmhouse mark the burial spot of abolitionist John Brown. A self-guiding trail passes through the grounds, which are accessible year-round. Cross-country skiing is permitted in winter.
