Luykas Van Alen House and Ichabod Crane Schoolhouse are 1 mi. s. at 2589 SR 9H. The 1737 farmhouse is furnished with period furniture and 18th-century decorative arts. The 1850 one-room schoolhouse has been restored to its 1930s appearance and displays Columbia County school artifacts.
