Rose Hill Mansion is 3 mi. e. on SR 96A, 1 mi. s. of jct. US 20/SR 5. This beautifully restored 1839 mansion on 30 acres of land overlooks Seneca Lake. Many furnishings are original to the Swan family, who occupied the mansion 1850-90. Twenty-one rooms are open to the public.

One of America's finest examples of Greek Revival architecture, the house emphasizes how family, friends, servants and laborers interacted in the complex world of a 19th-century farming estate. Furnishings, paint colors, wallpaper and textiles in the house are typical of the mid-19th century.

Admittance to the mansion is by guided tour only.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
