Sullivan's Monument at Newtown Battlefield State Park

Sullivan's Monument at Newtown Battlefield State Park, 3 mi. e. on I-86/SR 17, was the site of a Revolutionary War campaign staged by Gen. John Sullivan and Brig. Gen. James Clinton. Occasional battle re-enactments are presented throughout the year. Hiking and biking trails are available as well as cabins, campsites and playgrounds.

Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
