Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse and Veterans Park Museum

Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse and Veterans Park Museum is n. on Lighthouse Point Dr. off SR 5. The lighthouse was built in 1875 on the site of the first Point Gratiot lighthouse, established in 1826. The museum, housed in the keeper's quarters, displays armed services and war memorabilia as well as exhibits related to the lighthouse and its keepers. Also on the grounds is a Coast Guard and submarine exhibit room.

Walking shoes are recommended.
