Chautauqua Institution

Chautauqua Institution is on SR 394. Founded in 1874 as an educational center for Sunday-school teachers, the institution has become known for its concept of presenting lectures and entertainment to large groups. Chautauqua Institution offers activities for all ages in the arts, education, religion and recreation, including symphony, opera, theater, dance, visual arts, golf, tennis and sailing.
