Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site

Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site (Wilcox Mansion), 641 Delaware Ave., is an 1838 Greek Revival structure. A guided tour enhanced by interactive exhibits and multi-media programming transports visitors back to 1901, following Roosevelt as he arrives in Buffalo, takes the oath of office, writes his first proclamation to the nation and begins his presidency. Self-guiding exhibits, including a recreation of Roosevelt's West Wing office in the White House, explore the long-lasting legacy of Roosevelt's presidency.
