Kit Carson Home and Museum

Kit Carson Home and Museum is at 113 Kit Carson Rd. Located within the home of Christopher Houston “Kit” Carson and his wife Josefa and their children, the museum focuses on the history of the Carson family. Kit Carson was a well-known mountain man, guide, army officer and Mason. Exhibits reflect the life of the home's occupants during the mid-1800s. A 20-minute video presentation about Carson also is shown.
