Vietnam Veterans Memorial State Park

Vietnam Veterans Memorial State Park is at 34 Country Club Rd. This curvilinear structure originally was built as one family's memorial to a young son killed in an enemy ambush in Vietnam. President Ronald Reagan proclaimed it “a memorial of national significance” in November 1987. The chapel is dedicated to Vietnam War casualties. Its hilltop vantage affords views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the broad Moreno Valley.
