Open Space Visitor Center

Open Space Visitor Center is at 6500 Coors Blvd., N.W. The center offers information and resources about Albuquerque's Open Space Division with exhibits interpreting the natural and cultural resources protected by the city-wide program. An art gallery, agricultural fields that draw a variety of wildlife and beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains are offered. Comfortable indoor and outdoor viewing areas are available to watch sandhill cranes and other migratory birds during their fall and winter migratory season. The 16-mile, multiuse Paseo del Bosque trail is accessible from the visitor center.

Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
