Turtle Back Zoo

Turtle Back Zoo is on South Mountain Reservation at 560 Northfield Ave. (CR 508) between Cherry Ln. and Prospect Ave. The zoo contains a variety of animals in outdoor paddock enclosures as well as an animal nursery. From April through November a miniature train offers a scenic 1-mile ride around the grounds.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
