Insectropolis is at 1761 Lakewood Rd. Filled with bugs—both live creepy crawlers and preserved specimens from around the globe—the museum focuses on the impact insects have had on the human world. Home to ants, beetles, butterflies, moths, spiders and termites, the learning center also features hands-on displays in several themed exhibit areas, including Bug University, Caterpillar Cafe and the Rubber Tree Power Plant.
