Burlington County Historical Society Complex is 2 blks. n. of US 130 at 451-459 High St. The Corson Poley Center contains a library, museum, Children’s History Center and three historic houses: the Bard-How House, the Capt. James Lawrence House and the James Fenimore Cooper House. The museum displays a locally made jinrikisha—an Asian hand-pulled carriage—as well as a collection of tall case clocks and quilts. Another exhibit, The American Revolution: A Global Conflict, explores early American history. The Children's History Center offers interactive experiences for children ages 2 and up.
