New Jersey Korean War Veterans Memorial

New Jersey Korean War Veterans Memorial is in Brighton Park at jct. Boardwalk and Park Pl. Etched in the memorial's granite wall are the names of the 890 New Jerseyans who died or were listed as missing in action in the Korean War. A bronze eternal flame rests atop the wall, and bronze statues depict such poignant scenes as soldiers in combat gear standing in pensive, reflective stances or assisting wounded comrades. A Medal of Honor Wall depicts five New Jerseyans who received the Medal of Honor.

Two video screens continuously play documentaries chronicling the 1950-53 conflict.
