Clark House Museum Complex

Clark House Museum Complex, across from Huggins Hospital at 233 S. Main St., is a cluster of historic buildings on the village green. Pleasant Valley School, an 1820 one-room schoolhouse, features 19th-century desks and the Wolfeboro Historical Society Library. The Monitor Engine Co. Firehouse Museum is a replica of an 1862 firehouse with restored firefighting equipment, including a horse-drawn hose wagon and an 1872 steam pumper. The 1778 Clark House is a typical Colonial farmhouse furnished in period. An 1870s vintage barn also is located here.
