AAA Editor Notes
Warner House, 150 Daniel St. on the Portsmouth Harbour Trail, is a noted example of early Georgian architecture. The 1716 house has brick walls 18 inches thick, fine paneling and wall murals painted circa 1720 and considered to be the oldest in situ murals from the Anglo-American Colonial period. The lightning rod on the west wall is said to have been installed in 1762 under the supervision of Benjamin Franklin.
