Echo Lake State Park

Echo Lake State Park, 1.5 mi. w. of US 302 off Old West Side Rd., covers 396 acres. A scenic road near the top of Cathedral Ledge, 700 feet above the river valley, offers a view of the White Mountains and the Saco River Valley. Just south is Echo Lake, which offers swimming, hiking and climbing opportunities, with White Horse Ledge providing a spectacular backdrop.

Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
