W.M. Keck Earth Science and Mineral Engineering Museum is on the University of Nevada campus in the Mackay School of Mines (1664 N. Virginia St.). The facility houses a large collection of minerals, mining artifacts, historical photographs and a 1,250-piece silver service created by Tiffany & Co. for industrialist John W. Mackay. A paleontology collection includes 500 million-year-old trilobites and fossils from the Ice Age.
