Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino

Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino, 1650 S. Casino Dr., is the town's most historic gambling spot. When it opened in 1966 the tiny Riverside Resort motel had eight guest rooms, 12 slot machines and two table games. A fried chicken diner cost 98 cents. Today the Riverside has more than 1,400 rooms, a sprawling gaming floor, a 34-lane bowling alley, a multiplex movie theater, a collection of vintage restored vehicles and a 740-space RV park across the street.
