Lamoille Canyon Scenic Area

Lamoille Canyon Scenic Area is in Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, 20 mi. s.e. of Elko, Nev., via SR 227. A paved, two-lane scenic drive, overshadowed by towering cliffs, winds 12 miles along the canyon. Several overlooks with posted information enable visitors to observe the past effects of glacial activity. Wildflowers bloom abundantly in spring throughout the canyon's meadows.

Rest areas are available May-Oct.

Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
