Northeastern Nevada Museum

Northeastern Nevada Museum, 1515 Idaho St., chronicles Elko County and the surrounding region from prehistory to the present. Highlights include the Will James art and book collection, Wanamaker Wing wildlife habitat dioramas, Bob Chow gun collections and Bing Crosby memorabilia from the days when he was an Elko County rancher. Also featured are exhibits pertaining to the area's Basque heritage, explorers and pioneers, cattle and sheep ranching, gold mining and tribal cultures of the area.
