Sheldon Museum of Art

Sheldon Museum of Art is at 12th and R sts. on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. A collection of international distinction with strengths in American art is housed in a building designed by noted architect Philip Johnson. Constantin Brancusi, Alexander Calder, Edward Hopper, Lee Krasner, Georgia O'Keeffe and Mark Rothko are among the artists represented in the museum's 12,000-piece collection, which highlights both historic and new trends in contemporary art.

A campus-wide sculpture garden contains nearly 30 pieces by 20th- and 21st-century artists.
