Bodie Island Lighthouse Visitor Center

Bodie Island Lighthouse Visitor Center is on SR 12, 8 mi. s. of jct. US 158 and US 64 at 8210 Bodie Island Lighthouse Rd. The visitor center and lighthouse provide a glimpse of life as a lighthouse keeper in the late 1800s. Tours include the keepers' house and a climb to the top of the lighthouse. A short trail over the wetlands offers an observation deck.
