Giant Springs Fish, Wildlife and Parks Visitor Center and Fish Hatchery

Giant Springs Fish, Wildlife and Parks Visitor Center and Fish Hatchery is 2.5 mi. n.e. off US 87 on 4600 Giant Springs Rd. The regional headquarters visitor center has wildlife displays, photographs about park history and film presentations. Across the street is the hatchery for six strains of rainbow trout and two species of salmon; a visitor center explains fish raising. The park preserves one of the largest freshwater springs in the world. Scenic overlooks are available from two dams within 2 miles of the site.
