Logan Pass

Logan Pass lies between the headwaters of Logan and Reynolds creeks. At an elevation of 6,646 feet, it straddles the Continental Divide and carries Going-to-the-Sun Road from St. Mary to West Glacier. Though there are no overnight stopping places, other than campgrounds along the road, easy access by automobile makes it a favorite starting point for several walks, including the trail to Hidden Lake Overlook. Naturalist-led day trips and orientation talks are offered.

Note: Parking is limited during peak visiting hours, generally mid-morning to late afternoon.
