World Bird Sanctuary

World Bird Sanctuary is w. of SR 141 off N. Outer Rd., across from Lone Elk Park. This facility houses reptiles and a variety of birds, including bald eagles, owls, falcons and pelicans. Displays feature birds in their natural habitats. There are also nature trails, a wildlife hospital and a nature center, and naturalists are on hand to answer questions. Many free special events take place throughout the year.
