Remington Nature Center of St. Joseph

Remington Nature Center of St. Joseph is at 1502 MacArthur Dr. Natural history displays include a life-size mammoth and her calf as well as exhibits of preserved animals including a bison, wolf and black bear. Also featured are more than a thousand Native American artifacts from the area and a 7,000-gallon aquarium filled with native Missouri River fish. A variety of interactive educational exhibits appeal to kids. Outside, an observation deck overlooks the Missouri River and a walkway provides views of the Loess Hills Bluffs.
