Missouri State Capitol

Missouri State Capitol is at 201 W. Capitol Ave. Built of Carthage stone and completed in 1917, the building contains paintings by Thomas Hart Benton, Frank Brangwyn, N.C. Wyeth and other artists who have captured the state's legends, history and landscapes. The State Museum has a large collection of exhibits interpreting Missouri's natural and cultural heritage on display in the History and Resources halls, including a Missouri Veterans Gallery.
