Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo

Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo is at 2272 N. Coley Rd. As the name suggests, within this animal park is a herd of buffalo, including several that weigh more than a ton. The park also is home to camels, giraffes, kangaroos, llamas, pythons, yaks and zebras.

A narrated tour aboard the oversize-wheeled Monster Bison Bus gives visitors a close-up look at the herd; there is also an option for a trolley ride through the park. For kids, there are pony rides, a pillow jumper, a zip line and a petting zoo.
