Melrose Estate

Melrose Estate is at 1 Melrose-Montebello Pkwy, within Natchez National Historical Park. A blend of Greek Revival and Georgian architecture, the house was completed in 1845 and is surrounded by outbuildings, slave quarters and gardens. The house, accessible only by guided tour, contains hand-carved early Victorian furniture, Italian marble fireplaces and two rare, painted English floor cloths.
