African American Military History Museum

African American Military History Museum is at 305 E. 6th St. The museum, located inside one of America's only remaining African American United Service Organizations (USO) Clubs, contains hundreds of artifacts, displays and photographs documenting 150 years of African American military history. Highlights in the landmark building begin with the Buffalo Soldiers of the post-Civil War era and travel through such modern-day conflicts as Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.
