INFINITY Science Center is off I-10 exit 2 (south) next to the Mississippi Welcome Center located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The non-profit science center serves as the official Visitor Center for the NASA John C. Stennis Space Center and covers more than 50 years of space exploration history, including a full-size model of the International Space Station Destiny module. Other exhibits include a Hurricane Prediction Lab, Carnivorous Plants Conservatory, the Apollo 4 command module and a newly redesigned XSPHEREience theater. .
An outdoor exhibit includes rocket engines, a tsunami buoy and a weather collection buoy as well as the first stage of the Apollo 19 Saturn V rocket. The Earth Gallery depicts the planet in terms of a life support system and has exhibits covering deep ocean exploration and watersheds. A 7-mile nature trail can be explored by foot or by tram and a Biome Boardwalk features observation decks to view wildlife.
