Gooseberry Falls State Park

Gooseberry Falls State Park is 13 mi. n. to 3206 SR 61. Within the park are forest highlands, rugged lakeshore and five waterfalls along the Gooseberry River, which flows into Lake Superior. An interpretive center provides background about the park and its wildlife. Hiking is a popular recreational activity; a 2.5-mile segment of the Gitchi-Gami State Trail runs through the park.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
