Fort Snelling State Park

Fort Snelling State Park is off SR 5 on Post Rd., following signs. The park occupies 2,900 acres along the Mississippi and Minnesota rivers. Nature programs are offered at the visitor center. Interpretive exhibits, a boat launch, a swimming beach, fishing piers, and bicycling and hiking trails are available.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
