Morelia Zoo

Morelia Zoo (Zoológico de Morelia) is about 3 km (1.9 mi.) s. of the city center via Av. Juárez to Av. Camelinas. A variety of animal and bird species are displayed on the landscaped grounds. The zoo also has an aquarium, a small lake (rowboats are available for rent), a children's playground and the Casita Ecológica (Ecological House), where exhibits relate to the conservation of natural resources.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
