River of History Museum

River of History Museum is at 531 Ashmun St. Galleries chronicle more than 8,000 years of St. Marys River history. The valley’s development is traced from the Anishnabeg (Chippewa) Indians—the area’s first settlers—through the 18th-century French fur trade to modern industrial and environmental issues. An audio system re-creates sounds of history.
