Pictured Rocks

Pictured Rocks begins 5 mi. n.e. of Munising within Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. These cliffs, from Longfellow’s “The Song of Hiawatha,” are notable for their rich color and interesting formations. Except for Miners Castle, they are accessible only by boat or on foot. Pictured Rocks Cruises offers 2.5-hour tours of the formations leaving from Munising.
