USS LST 393 Veterans Museum

USS LST 393 Veterans Museum, 560 Mart St., is a Landing Ship Tank that was launched in 1942. Visitors can tour the ship at their own pace with a brochure. Displays reveal the ship's former days as a World War II vessel that carried U.S. soldiers and vehicles to three invasions, including Omaha Beach on D-Day. After the war LST 393 was used as a merchant ship.

Note: The main deck and museum are handicap accessible, but climbing steep stairs and ladders is required for access to some decks.
