River Raisin National Battlefield Park

River Raisin National Battlefield Park is off I-75 exit 14 at 1403 E. Elm Ave. Displays in the visitor center depict the Battle of the River Raisin, one of the largest engagements of the War of 1812. Exhibits include dioramas, fiber-optic maps, firearms and mannequins. A 15-minute auditorium presentation explains the major turning points of that war. The center also provides information about Monroe County.
