Icebreaker Mackinaw Maritime Museum

Icebreaker Mackinaw Maritime Museum is moored at the historic Chief Wawatam railroad dock at 131 S. Huron St. A brief video showcasing the World War II-era ship is shown at the beginning of the tour and then visitors can see the engine room, crew quarters, galley, mess deck, sick bay, pilothouse, captain’s quarters and more. The tour includes docents, displays, video presentations and interactive displays.

Note: The ship includes confined spaces, open steel decking and steep ladders.
