Veldheer Tulip Gardens

Veldheer Tulip Gardens is just e. off US 31 at 12755 Quincy St. On display are more than 275 varieties of tulips and daffodils in a setting of windmills, drawbridges and canals. The main flowering season, with 15 acres of blooms, is late April through early May. A wide selection of bulbs and flowering plants replaces the tulips for the remainder of the year. A herd of 19 bison can be seen on the grounds.
