John Ball Zoo

John Ball Zoo is at jct. I-196 and SR 45. One of the largest zoos in the state, it houses more than 2,000 animals from many parts of the world. Of particular interest are a troop of seven chimpanzees, a lion exhibit, a tiger exhibit, a tropics building and aquarium as well as a 300-foot zipline and climbing ropes course. Two petting corrals are open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
