Genesee Recreation Area

Genesee Recreation Area is 6 mi. n.e. off I-475 exit 13. Covering 4,540 acres along the Flint River, the area contains beaches, bicycle paths, a boat launch, fishing sites, hiking and horse trails, disc golf course and picnic areas. After sunset from Memorial Day through Labor Day colored lights play upon Stepping Stone Falls, a spillway impounding 600-acre Mott Lake.

Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
