Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center

Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center is at 6087 E. SR 115 in William Mitchell State Park. Featuring an exhibit hall, nature trail and auditorium, the modern facility gives visitors a variety of opportunities to experience the great outdoors. The history of hunting in the state and the conservation of Michigan’s natural resources are presented through interactive wildlife exhibits and multimedia presentations. The Heritage Nature Trail offers 2.5 miles of plants and wildlife.
